I once caused a brownout on the internet.  I had an MCIMail account and a Skytel pager and I set it up so that whenever I received an email, I would receive a page notifying me about it.  (This was back when emails wee few and far between.)  To cut a long story short, I set up a system that created a cascading effect between MCI and Skytel and excalated to the point that it was swamping the net.  I received a telephone call from an MCI engineer late in the night notifying me that, according to MCI's terms of services, he as officially notifying me that my account had been opened and forwarding features had been turned off.  All true.

Whereabouts...

I'm located in Pleasanton, California.  That's in the East Bay, near San Francisco.  Let's chat on the telephone and then see if we should meet face-to-face.  If you're too far away for us to conveniently meet, there are some tricks I know that will let us collaborate by computer.
